Bryah Resources (ASX:BYH) reports that it has identified a new gold-bearing fault structure from aircore drilling at the Lady Alma Layered Igneous Complex (LALIC) within its Gabanintha Project in Western Australia.

The company states that recently received assays confirm a new prospect located 1.7km along strike from the project’s New Hope prospect. Key results from hole 21GAC013 include 9 metres @ 1.43 g/t Au from 24m; with 4 metres @ 2.48 g/t Au and 0.064% Cu from 29m.

Bryah Resources has expanded its footprint in WA, securing three exploration licences covering 50 km² around its existing land holding in the Bryah and Padbury Basins.

The Bryah Basin hosts the high-grade copper-gold mines at DeGrussa, discovered by Sandfire Resources (ASX:SFR) in 2009, and at Horseshoe Lights, which was mined until 1994.

It also hosts several historical and current manganese mines including the company’s Horseshoe South mine.

The search for copper and gold riches at Bryah Resources’ Windalah anomaly is getting warmer as aircore drilling continues to grow the strike-length and prospectivity of the VMS target.

Aircore drilling by Bryah (ASX:BYH) has boosted the strike length of the multi-element anomaly well beyond 500m.

Results of 986 ppm arsenic and 136 ppm antimony in hole 21WEAC053 and up to 17 ppm molybdenum in hole 21WEAC052 may not provide direct evidence of a major copper or gold find, but they do show the pathfinders of a big VMS system are there – and at higher levels than previous aircore drilling in 2020.
